Clean & Jerk
Note: Once warmed-up, athletes will only have 3 more attempts at each lift and each lift must be judged by a coach. Athletes may only go up in weight or stay at the same weight for their attempts. If an athlete misses all 3 attempts they will receive a score of zero for that lift. This is meant to mimic the confines of an Olympic lifting meet.
As a recommendation, an athlete’s first attempt should be something they are 95% or more sure that they will hit. Attempt #2 should be close to or at their PR. And attempt #3 should be going for a new record if the previous 2 attempts were successful.
